The course pushed me intellectually and it was challenging managing the workload and different deadlines. But I found the content very interesting and it has really boosted my confidence. It showed me that I can actually understand - and use - complex statistical methods. I enjoyed being part of an academic community with meeting likeminded students, but I think the real highlight was the in depth help and support I received from my project supervisors.

Once I had completed my studies, I went straight into a Technical Analyst role at a national centre for evidence appraisal, working in health economics, specifically, health technology assessments. I have already progressed within my team and find the skills and knowledge that I learnt on the masters incredibly helpful.
