Educating doctors to provide safer care
Our aims
In order to deliver safe medical care, doctors need to be appropriately trained, supported, and assessed. Researchers from LIME (Leeds Institute of Medical Education) are at the forefront of international developments in assessment of competence, professional learning, and the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning. This research is conducted in partnership with students, patients and health professionals, and influences medical education policy and practice locally, nationally, and internationally.
