Leeds Prospective Remission Clinic

A joint NHS/Research remission clinic was set up in Chapel Allerton Hospital in 2016, to facilitate research and develop new guidelines for the ongoing management of RA patients in remission (run by two clinical nurse specialists, helping approx. 60 patients/month and overseen by a dedicated research fellow (Dr Hanna Gul, recipient of a Charitable Trustee fellowship for this project) and a consultant (Prof. Paul Emery).

LIRMM and the BRC have provided support for the research activities of this clinic.
