What advice would you give to students who are decided which course to choose?

Dentistry at Leeds is very good...it prepares you for your Dental Foundation Training better than a lot of other Universities. When you get to your training, you'll see how porrly prepared other graduates are compared to Leeds graduates.

Which modules on your course particularly appealed to you?

Oral surgery placement in fourth year at Burnley and Blackburn.

What support did the tutors and other staff give you?

Plenty, the staff at the dental school are incredibly helpful and very good at their job.

How have the skills you gained on the course benefitted you in your current position?

Hugely, I've only realised since starting work quite how good the training was at Leeds if you have a pragmatic mindset.
