I did an ambitious research project for my dissertation.  The success of this research enabled me to secure a University of Leeds scholarship to do a PhD. The PhD lead onto me being a contract researcher, then a lecturer, and then an associate professor at the University.

A degree from the School of Psychology has benefitted me in the workplace as it has been a catapult to my career as a researcher and academic.

If I could the advice I would give to myself whilst I was studying would be to believe in yourself! Do your best and the opportunities will come looking for you!!
