Leeds is a great place to study medicine. World-class facilities are provided and the staff are very supportive. You get a lot of chances to do the things that interest you the most and receive appropriate guidance from the more senior persons. I think I really like the green environment in Leeds and the fact that University of Leeds is of a campus style.
UK is at the forefront for many courses and medicine is one of them. The UK provides world-class teaching facilities and the doctors and lecturers are all at the forefront of research too. I have always wanted to come to the UK since I was a child. In fact, I have always wanted to study music. However, I love the science as well as human body.
I have finally decided to go into medicine because I can still do music as a hobby but if I do music, I would never learn about the human body. It is important for me to study medicine as I want to help make a difference in people’s life and at the same time educate people about their own health. one of my highlights on the course was the wet anatomy dissection sessions in first and second year.

Yorkshire is such a great place to live in and I must say I really love it! You would be able to enjoy a vibrant city life as well as a nature walk/ hike close to your doorstep. Yorkshire is classed as one of the most beautiful areas in the UK and the tallest mountain in the England sits here in Yorkshire at the Lake district which is not far away from Leeds.
I have also been given the chance to play with the Leeds Haydn Players as a first violinist and have also sung the Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 in the choir with the LUUMS symphony orchestra in Leeds Town Hall.
