Brain and Behaviour Laboratory
Welcome to the Brain and Behaviour Laboratory at Leeds
The Director and manager of the lab is Dr Melanie Burke an Associate Professor in the School interested in understanding cognitive decline in ageing and age-related diseases.
"My overall research vision is to develop a feasible and viable intervention for cognitive decline that will actively change the landscape in care for those with neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive deficits. This is in-line with the strategic aims of the University of Leeds and the Faculty of Medicine and Health by addressing long-term conditions and improving mental health and wellbeing using cross-cutting medical technologies and imaging."
