Roundtable discussion at the 2nd China HTA Conference

Professor Chris Bojke was part of the panel for a roundtable discussion on the Meaning of Value-based Healthcare at the 2nd China HTA Conference in Beijing.

The Conference, from 26th-27th October 2019, was held at the China National Convention Centre, Beijing.  It was hosted by the China National Health Development Research Centre.

The panel was chaired by Professor Xie Feng of McMaster University and included Professor Lou Garrison, Professor Simon Dixon, Professor Andrea Manca, Dr Cynthia Iglesias and Professor Chris Bojke from Leeds Institute of Health Sciences.  Topics raised included the purpose of value frameworks, their consideration of opportunity cost, the role of structured deliberation, the role of qualitative data and pros and cons of MCDA.
