This free lecture is being organised as part of our partnership on a recent successful £1m NIHR HSDR application to understand relationships between staffing and quality in care homes.

The quality of care and life experienced by care home residents is influenced by the staff delivering and managing that care. How to ensure quality of care for care home residents is a societal priority and one of ongoing (international) debate involving the public, policy makers, commissioners, providers, clinicians and researchers.

This event will consider a range of perspectives on developing and sustaining care homes for the future and the critical role of the workforce in promoting quality of care for residents and effective working between health and social care services.  There will be a chance to ask the panel questions at the end of the session.

This event is open to all and will be an opportunity to network with healthcare professionals, policy makers, researchers in the field and practitioners.
