Winner of the John Zamet Memorial Prize in Periodontal Research Awarded to Leeds Academic

Dr Serban, NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Dental Public Health won the prize established to recognise and commemorate the significant contribution made to clinical periodontology.

The prize ceremony took place on 29 April 2018 at the RAF Museum, London. Stefan presented the results of his doctoral research “Outcomes of Periodontal Treatment in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis (OPERA): quantitative and qualitative results of a pilot randomized controlled trial”.

The prize was established to recognise and commemorate the significant contribution made to clinical periodontology by the late Dr John Zamet.
