Completed my Masters by Research at the University of Bedfordshire in 2019. My main interests are Positive Psychology and Second Wave Positive Psychology in relation to death and dying
Research interests
I am interested in the more positive aspects of death and dying. By understanding and accepting our own mortality may enhance the way we live our life.
Most people do not like talking about death, especially their own. My PhD will be investigating what barriers people have that stop them having open and frank discussion about death. By understanding what the barriers are, may help find ways to break them and allow people to discuss death and dying openly. This work is supervised by Dr Alison Rodriguez and Doctor Joanna Smith.
