Dr Julia Csikar


Dr Julia Csikar gained a degree in Human Ecology from Huddersfield University in 1998 and then went on to complete a Masters in Public in 2003 from the University of Leeds. In 2013, she completed her PhD ‘Comparing smoking cessation services in Bradford & Airedale’ from University of Leeds. She has held NHS and university posts within the specialties of Dental Public Health and General Public Health. She is currently a Lecturer in Dental Public Health at the University of Leeds School of Dentistry and supports undergraduate and postgraduate teaching along with her research role.Julia is also Chair of the University of Leeds Dental Research Ethics Committee. She also works as a Senior Dental Public Health Manager for Public Health England working within the national team.
