I am Deputy Clinical Director and Principal Teaching Fellow with the Clinical Psychology Training Programme. I am also the Admissions Tutor for the programme.

These roles involve multiple duties inc:

  • Organisation and allocation of placements Liaison with NHS Colleagues
  • Teaching (clinical placements, people with learning disabilities)
  • Lead for Selection and Admissions to the Programme
  • Internal Examination for DClinPsychol programme
  • Research Supervision (Qualitative Methods/Research with people with learning disabilities)
  • Member of the School of Medicine Research Ethics Subcommittee
  • Member of the School of Medicine  Health and Conduct Committee
  • Convenor of Selection Subcommittee

Research interests

My teaching responsibilities are to the Clinical Psychology Training Programme. Alongside others in the Clinical Tutor Team, I deliver training that prepares Psychologists in Clinical Training for their placements. I also contribute to teaching on psychological work in services for people with learning disabilities.

I also work on the Clinical Psychology Training Programme at the University of Sheffield, and as a clinical psychologist in a Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities.
