School of Psychology International PhD student Jihane Ghorayeb, supervised by Professor Anna Madill, has published videos as part of her work to help mums with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). The videos convey three important phases in transitions to motherhood (planning, pregnancy, and motherhood) with mum's describing their experiences in a way that is optimistic yet realistic about the challenges of becoming a mum with a serious chronic illness and have received superb feedback. The videos can be found on the following links in relation to the topics of planning, pregnancy and motherhood. This research was funded by Crohn's & Colitis UK and supported by a Leeds Social Sciences Institute ESRC Impact Acceleration Account PGR Placement Scheme grant.
