Profile
I am Maisy and I am a PSRC PhD student at the school of healthcare. I studied BSc (hons) in Clinical Psychology from 2020 to 2023, and my MSC in Clinical Neurology from 2024 to 2025. Alongside my studies, I gained experience as a Research Assistant in Psychology from 2021 to 2023, and as a Research Intern in Forensic Psychiatry in 2023. Upon completeing my BSc, I took on a full time post at Humber NHS in Prevention Recovery and Wellbeing, which I continued through my MSc. Alongside my role, I was a Staff Champion of Patient Experience, member of the Humber Youth Action Group, Charity Champion, Research Champion, and White Ribbon Champion.
Research interests
My previous research experience is in Psychology, Forensics, and Neurology. My PhD focus is on Restorative Approaches to Patient Safety. I have a particular interest in patient safety and wellbeing, as well as accessible research.
