Dr Preetha Biyani

Profile

I qualified as a Doctor from the University of Nottingham where I also completed an intercalated BMedSci. I currently work as a GP in Wakefield and have special interests in Women’s Health and Medical education.

I completed PGCME from University of Leeds in 2020 and became a GP trainer soon after. I continue to work as an educational and clinical supervisor for GP trainees.

I have previously set up Year 1-3 medical student placements and Year 1-2 Physician Associate placements in my previous surgery, between 2020 and 2023.

I am one of a team of clinical teaching fellows in the Academic Unit of Primary Care based within the Worsley building. I am involved in medical student teaching and pastoral support for students completing intercalated BSc.
