Profile
Emma is the Co-Ordinator for the NIHR Research Support Service (RSS), delivered by the University of York & Partners. She provides administrative support to the Service, including arrranging advice meetings and maintaining the RSS database. She works alongside the RSS regional manager in the triaging process of new requests for support to the Service. She is usually the first point of contact for researchers wishing to engage with the Service. Emma assists in supporting RSS staff in their roles, as well as helping to prepare data/metric reporting to NIHR. As well as these duties, Emma also provides support to the RSS Public Involvement and works closely with RSS colleagues in the Leeds Clinical Trials Unit the other RSS offices in the Yorkshire & Humber region (Sheffield and York).
Emma also has another role within the University of Leeds, supporting the Division of Applied Health Research Methods, based in LIHS, SoMH. Emma organises and attends monthly meetings and supports colleagues within the Division with a range of tasks, such as travel, event planning and external finance reimbursement.
