Research interests

My research interests are focused on individualising and improving care and treatment for patients with renal cancer. My interests span from basic laboratory research through to clinical trials involving patients with kidney cancer. Our laboratory focuses on the discovery and/or validation of prognostic and predictive biomarkers and novel therapeutic targets, by examining the protein as well as genetic changes that occur in renal cancers. Underpinning this work is our large collection of high quality samples of blood and tissue collected from consenting patients with renal cancer, including those treated with drugs such as TKIs and immunotherapy.
