Providing support for and leading the organisation of LIHS Postgraduate programmes (Psychiatry CPD & MSc). Hena works collaboratively with partners in Sheffield alongside the HEEYH to deliver the joint CPD course.

Student Education Service Officer Roles & Responsibilities

Co-ordinate the programme support function across LIHS, improving the consistency of processes and practices and to promote the sharing of ideas and good practice.

 Interpretation and application of new regulations, policies and procedures relating to the organisation of Psychiatry MSc/CPD and provision of advice and guidance to academic staff and external tutors. Being a source of advice to students throughout the duration of their studies including pastoral care and support. Development and maintenance of programme documentation including handbooks and publications. Supporting marketing activities by assisting with the production of marketing materials

 Co-ordination and development of Virtual Learning Environment resources for the programme, maintaining programme information on the Course Website for both Leeds and Sheffield trainees.

Leading the organisation of the FACS & CASC Clinical Workshops alongside the West Yorkshire Deanery.

Provision of organisational support including the coordination of materials, procurement of resources, fee payments and all aspects of quality assurance for the programmes.

Organisation of assessment and examinations procedures including, student assignments, marks and organisation of the University plagiarism rules.
