Profile
Current and Previous Roles
I am responsible for the academic components of the Clinical Psychology programme and oversee the curriculum and assignments. My teaching responsibilities include organising and teaching on the theory and practice of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. My previous roles have been within the NHS, specialising in using CBT with adult clients within adult mental health and physical health services.
Research interests
My main research interest is in psychological therapies and the training and supervision of practitioners to deliver them. I am interested in supervising projects on therapy process and in particular the experience of delivering or receiving therapy with "unsuccessful" outcomes. I am enthusiastic about single-case methods and practice-based research. My interests in mental health are broad, but with a particular focus on perinatal mental health issues.
