I lead the Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education, a course for all healthcare practitioners who are engaged in education in clinical or Higher Education settings. As an educator, facilitator and enabler I embrace the strategic aim of inspiring students (whether under or postgraduate) to develop their full potential. I currently lead the Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education and provide research supervision for the Master in (Clinical) Education programme. I also facilitate communication skills for undergraduate medical students and am a personal tutor for students on the BSc Applied Health Suite (Medical Education) degree. I am interested in the provision of feedback, the practice of supervision, the use of portfolios in education and student mental health.

Prior to working within LIME I worked as a senior sister and clinical education lead for the regional paediatric intensive care unit and as a lecturer/ practioner in child health nursing before moving to a third sector organisation that provides provides care for children with life threatening and life limiting illness where I was Head of Education.
