Profile
I joined the University of Leeds in February 2021 as a Research Fellow. I have a BSc and MSc in Computer Science, and a PhD in Computational Neuroscience. I have several years of experience working in industry as a software engineer, including a placement year at CERN, Switzerland. In my current role, I analyse electronic health records to find interesting patterns and make clinically-meaningful predictions, with the ultimate aim being to improve patient outcomes.
Research interests
My research interests include: working with large datasets; building data-processing pipelines; using high-performance computing hardware to accelerate research; applying statistical and machine learning techniques to electronic health records; computational simulation of biological processes.
