Profile
I completed my undergraduate Biochemistry degree (BSc hons) at Imperial College London, graduating in 2012. Following this, I began working with Professor Ramzi Ajjan at the University of Leeds for the completion of my PhD studies. My PhD focussed on factors affecting fibrin clot lysis, and in particular, how fibrinolysis may be manipulated with potential for beneficial therapeutic implications. In 2019 I started working with Professor Helen Philippou on the drug discovery programme anti-thrombotics with minimal bleeding risk. My work now revolves around the identification and characterisation of novel pathways of the coagulation cascade.
