Profile
My long-term career aim is to become an independent clinical research leader, integrating patient care with research. My academic training, including my BHF-funded PhD, has focused on heart rhythm management, device therapy, and risk stratification. I have developed expertise in heart failure and heart rhythm management, cardiac imaging, device programming, and mechanistic phenotyping. I have an established track record of securing competitive funding, delivering high-impact research outputs, and providing research leadership through supervision and mentorship of undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. In my current role, I am developing an independent clinical research programme that advances physiology-guided approaches to heart rhythm management, improves patient-orientated outcomes, and informs clinical practice.
