Polly Spooner

Profile

Polly Spooner is the Programme Manager for the CHORUS (Community-led Responsive and Effective Urban Health Systems) Research Consortium, in the Nuffield Centre for International Health and Development. It is a 6-year programme, commencing in 2020, working with partners in Nigeria, Ghana, Nepal and Bangladesh, funded by the Department for International Development (DfID). 

Polly joined LIHS in 2018 as Project Officer for the COMDIS-HSD (Communicable Disease Health Service Delivery) Research Consortium, also funded by the DfID. Prior to LIHS, Polly worked in DfID’s Humanitarian Response team, and the UK Government Stabilisation Unit, most recently as a Deployments Manager. She has a postgraduate diploma in Development Management.
