Ciarán McInerney, PhD.

Profile

Ciarán studied Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Limerick before completing an MSc and a PhD at Sheffield Hallam University in instrumentation and performance metrics. He joined the University of Leeds in 2017 at the School of Medicine developing methods to identify cancer progression and recurrence. Ciarán is concurrently part of the School of Computing where he evaluates and develops clinical decision support systems with a focus on patient safety.

Research interests

Ciarán's research focus is methodological, asking what methods are best suited to a task.
