Dr David Keane

I am a Clinical Scientist working in the Department of Renal Medicine at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, combing a clinical role supporting specialist physiological measurement, audit and service development with a research role that is housed by Leeds Institute for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine. I am currently funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) as a Clinical Lecturer and have previously held an NIHR Doctoral Fellowship.

Research interests

My main area of research interest is fluid management in haemodialysis patients and particularly the development of novel medical devices to aid assessment of body composition and fluid status.
