Profile

Chung is responsible for the core business functions of the Academic Unit of Elderly Care and Rehabilitation, including strategic planning, performance monitoring, budget and resource management, contracts initiation and liaison with external partners.

Chung joined the Academic Unit in 2009 and has a strong background in business management. He has good working relations with internal infrastructures as well as working collaboratively with external partners.

He ensures robust systems and procedures are in place to ensure the smooth running of the department. He provides up-to-date accurate reports to support strategic decision-making.

Also taking a role as a core team member of the NIHR CLAHRC Yorkshire and Humber, Chung provides support to nine research themes across the region, with greater responsibility in capturing theme data for annual progress reports.

As and when required by research projects, Chung develops bespoke electronic data capture software applications using WPF and C# programming, including the responsibility of data extract and contribution to analysis using SQL.
