Harisah Haaris

Profile

I trained as Sonographer after graduating in Diagnostic Radiography here at the University of Leeds. I have always enjoyed working alongside and supporting students in clinical practice as a Sonographer. My passion for education and student experience/mentoring has led to the recruitment at the University of Leeds as an Academic Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging. Since appointment I am module lead for numerous modules and excited to be involved in the new undergraduate programme BSc (Hons) Medical Ultrasound. Ultrasound education is evolving and changing to meet the clinical demands. I look forward to inspiring students and enhancing their experience at the University of Leeds. I am committed to my responsibility for their learning and teaching; to nurture and support their personal growth and development through their time at university; to help prepare them in their transition to graduate practice; and to be their advocate.
