Mr Raheem Choudhury

Profile

I began my Career in 2017/18 where I had studied at the University of Derby. Shortly after I undertook my first post at the University Hospitals in Leicester where I had developed my skills within general X-ray, A&E, theatre and fluroscopy. I have a mixed clinical background working in several different areas/modalities most recently within the Yorkshire region at very busy major trauma centres such as Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. Academia has always been a strong passion of mines and is at the forefront of my career. I had undetaken several different academic roles prior to my lecturing role these were academic mentoring, associate lecturing and guest lecturing these roles help to build the foundations for my ability to teach within a clinical and classroom setting. I have an abundance of knowledge but what I am most passionate about is sharing this in the best way possible for students to understand in a carefree and non-judgmental environment. I do like to keep with to date with clinical practice so attened clinical shifts at Hull Royal Infirmary which is one of Leeds main clinical placements sites. I currently teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules in all three year groups such as appendicular musculoskeletal anatomy, physiology and pattern recognition (image interpretaion), Interprofessional practice and application of imaging in Radiology.
