Mrs Tanya Chamberlain

Profile

I began my Higher Education studying Biology, subspecialising in cell biology and infectious disease, graduating with a 1st Class Honours.

I then completed a Masters Programme at the University of Sheffield in Human Anatomy with Education. The extensive anatomical dissection training and experience during this programme only heightened my curiosity at the systems beneath the skill, whilst the accredited teaching programme fuelled my desire to disseminate anatomical knowledge to students.

My interest in Human Anatomy is only rivalled by my enthusiasm for teaching, and in particular my desire to promote an inclusive and engaging learning environment for students.

I joined the Division of Anatomy at the University of Leeds, where I teach anatomy, neuroanatomy and embryology over multiple modules across MBChB Medicine, MChD Dentistry, and Physician Associates.

During my team at Leeds, I have promoted multimodal approaches to the study of anatomy and built an extensive array of asynchronous resources. I am currently developing interdisciplinary teaching approaches across Year 1 MBChB and the Physician Associates programme.
