Research interests
Kathleen's PhD, 'Living Better with Advanced Breast Cancer' (LIBERATE), explores quality of life in women living with secondary or metastatic breast cancer. The project, funded by Breast Cancer Now, ultimately aims to develop and evaluate an online supportive intervention tailored to the needs of this growing group of patients.
Kathleen is particularly interested in women’s & children’s health and qualitative research methods. Her Masters dissertation explored measures of maternal-infant bonding in the context of community programmes supporting childhood social and emotional well-being.
