Generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in medical education seminar on Monday 31 March 2025
Are you curious/worried about the impact/use of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in medical education? We are delighted to invite you to join our upcoming seminar, where Dr Huiming Ding and Dr Matt Homer will be presenting their latest findings of their empirical research funded by the Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME). We will provide insights into how GAI is currently being used by our own medical students and faculty at Leeds in learning, teaching, and assessment. We will also illustrate stakeholder concerns about the resources needed for ethically and sustainably embracing GAI in medical education more generally. You will also have the opportunities to share your perspectives.
Date: 31st March
Time: 12:00-13:30 (lunch will be provided)
Location: Worsley 8.43X / Online (Teams)
All students, faculty members, or staff at the School of Medicine and beyond are welcome but face-to-face places are limited to 40. Please click the link here to book your place by 26 March.
