Annual Clinical Teachers Day

We are inviting colleagues to submit abstracts for our Clinical Teachers Day on 21st March 2019.

This a new and exciting opportunity for our placement colleagues to share good placement practice and innovative teaching. Participants will have the opportunity to explore key challenges, ways of engaging students and future directions and enterprise in clinical education.

Clinical Teachers Day has representatives from all branches of medical educators, please ensure workshops are designed for people with a broad spectrum of previous knowledge and experience that can be applied to a range of clinical settings.

Conference workshops are 1 hour duration, and they run consecutively in the afternoon.

The School of Medicine would particular welcome applications with a focus on the following key themes and topic areas:

• Electronic Patient Records (EPR)
• E-prescribing
• Digital resources and technologies on placement
• Opportunities – good use of all resources
• How to engage the disengaged student  
• Feedback and assessment
