Profile
I am a Research Fellow based in the School of Healthcare at the University of Leeds. I completed my BSc (Hons) in Psychology with first-class honours at the University of Huddersfield in 2020, followed by an MSc in Psychological Research Methods (Distinction) at the University of Sheffield in 2021.
My PhD research examined the psychological safety of patients in inpatient mental health services, with a focus on developing practical recommendations to support psychologically safe care when restrictive practices are used.
As part of my current role, I work on the NIHR HSDR funded #StaffedWards project. The project is aiming to establish the relationship between staff and ward characteristics and patient safety incidents on adult mental health wards.
My research interests include applied healthcare research, patient safety and qualitative methodologies.
