Profile
I am an applied mathematician with a strong interdisciplinary focus, able to work across diverse fields, methodologies, and research cultures. I bring a proven track record of interdisciplinary work and a passion for modelling challenging biological systems.
I also have experince in industry as a CRM analyst and as a Head of Studies at a multinational telecommunications company.
Research interests
I am interested in using statistical approaches in clinical domains to improve healthcare, as well as applying mathematical models to validate experiments and generate hypothesis, which may be used to inform experimental design. I am particularly interested in antimicrobial resistance—including policy aspects—epidemiology, and plant circadian rhythms.

Student education
I lead group teaching and assessment activities for a Statistics module in the MBChB programme, and I contribute to teaching sessions in the MSc Health Informatics with Data Science programme.
