Profile

Upon completing my nursing degree at the University of Leeds, I embarked on a journey in Critical Care nursing at a prominent teaching hospital. My career evolved through various roles, enriching my expertise in managing critically ill patients and contributing to the professional development of my peers. In 2023, I transitioned to the Leeds Institute of Medical Education as a Healthcare Professions Lecturer, where I take pride in imparting my clinical insights and pedagogical skills to aspiring students.

My dedication to education is further exemplified by my fellowship with Advance HE and my pursuit of a Master's degree in Clinical Education at my alma mater. I am particularly invested in fostering inclusive teaching methods, advancing clinical simulation, and exploring effective learning strategies.

Student education

My role encompasses teaching on the postgraduate clinical education course and spearheading the curriculum development module for the intercalated degree in medical education at the School of Medicine. I am responsible for guiding the following modules: MEDS5106M and MEDS5141M, which focuses on teaching and learning; and MEDS3012, which introduces learners to curriculum development.
