Alyn Morgan

Profile

Alyn is a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow at Leeds School of Dentistry, a GDC registered Specialist in Endodontics and Honorary Secretary of the British Endodontic Society.

Alyn Morgan graduated from Leeds Dental School in 1995, and worked in general practice for twelve years, ending up as the joint owner of a 10 surgery general dental practice in Shipley, West Yorks. In 2007 he commenced the MSc programme in endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute. He was awarded the MSc with distinction in 2009.

Following completion of his MSc he continued to take endodontic referrals in practice, whilst also working part-time as a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow and Deputy Programme Director of the Diploma in Endodontic Practice at the Eastman, remaining there until 2016.

He has lectured widely on endodontics, spoken at numerous national dental conferences and regularly provides hands-on teaching across the country.

In addition to working in specialist referral practice at U Dentistry in Ilkley, he is a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow at Leeds School of Dentistry, a GDC registered Specialist in Endodontics and the Honorary Secretary of the British Endodontic Society. He is Chair of the Yorkshire Council of LDCs and was the primary care representative on the NHS England Restorative Commissioning Guide working group.
