Dr Claudia Heggie

Research interests

I am currently completing an NIHR funded PhD exploring the implementation of photobiomodulation (a red light treatment) for oral mucositis prevention in children and young people receiving chemotherapy. My research interests include the oral health of children with cancer and other complex medical backgrounds, implementation science, qualitative research methods, and involvement of children and families in research.
