Dr Cecilie Osnes

Profile

I graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a BA(Hons) in Communication Design in 2014, and an MSc in Medical Visualisation & Human Anatomy from the University of Glasgow & GSA the following year. I joined the School of Dentistry as a digital technician for what was to become Prof Andy Keeling’s digital dentistry group in 2016, before becoming a member of academic staff in October 2018. I completed my PhD in digital dentistry, with focus on 3D dental scanners, in 2021. In September 2024 I moved to a full time role in industry, working for a spin-out company founded on some of the work undertaken in the digital dentistry lab. I retain a visiting post within the digital dentistry lab.
