Profile
My clinical background is mainly in general dental practice .
I have worked in general dental practice since qualifying from 1987 to August 2017
I owned a dental practice from 1995-2017
During this time the practice held awards for Investors In People & the BDA Good Practice .
I have worked as a Clinical Demonstrator at the Leeds Dental Institute part-time from 2004.
More recently since selling my practice in 2017 I have been working as a Clinical Teaching Fellow & Clinical Demostrator at the Leeds Dental Instute.
Research interests
I am currently helping with the RAP research.
This is investigating the links between rheumatoid arthritis & periodontal disease.

My main role at the Leeds Dental Insitute is to instruct & give guidance to students while they are treating patients in a clinical setting.
I also help with some examinations .
