Leona Beecroft

I joined the university in 2014 as a clinical skills facilitator for medical emergencies. Since embarking on this role I have established strong links with the Leeds Dental Insitute linking the taught curriculum with patient safety.  I became Deputy Governance Lead for the LDI in 2017, this role along with my skills facilitator role truly facilitate the application of theory to practice in the field of medical emergencies.

In 2016, I completed my PG Cert in Clinical Education developing an interest in peer assessment, the power of feedback in simulation and the impact this has on the learner experience.
