Civic Award Winners 2024

The School of Psychology has announced its Civic Award winners for 2023-24.

The School of Psychology Civic Awards honour the dedication, passion, and hard work of individuals whose efforts have profoundly impacted their peers and the broader community.

They recognise and celebrate undergraduate, taught postgraduate, and research postgraduate contribution to the School, University, and wider community. Awards can be given for volunteering, research apprenticeships, enterprise, student support, student society involvement and individual efforts to promote values of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Civic Award For exceptional dedication and commitment towards students:

For the first time, a Civic Award was presented to a staff member Dr Gina Z. Koutsopoulou for exceptional dedication and commitment towards students. This award recognizes her outstanding dedication to student welfare and well-being, her commitment to enhancing the academic and student community, and her unwavering positivity and enthusiasm for the school. Moving forward, this award will be established as an annual recognition of excellence.
