Profile

I was awarded a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of York in 2020, including a placement year at Astex Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge. I then moved to the University of Leeds to undertake a MRC-funded DiMeN PhD titled ‘The immunogenetic heterogeneity of hepatocellular carcinoma and the design of individualised heteroclitic peptide immunotherapies’, supervised by Professor Adel Samson, Dr Darren Newton and Professor Reuben Tooze. I have since been awarded a Summerhayes Fellowship to continue the pre-clinical development of a heteroclitic peptide vaccine for patients with liver cancer.

Research interests

I am interested in how we can better target the anti-tumour immune response.
