Profile
I joined Professor Francesco Del Galdo’s group in 2022 starting as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, I’m interested in the gastrointestinal involvement in systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). I completed my PhD at the University of Leeds in 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Georgia Mavria and Professor Colin A. Johnson. My doctoral research focused on blood vessel lumen morphogenesis and the roles of cilia and cytoskeletal regulators in flow sensing, using a 3D perfused cell culture system that I established. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproduction Technology (University of Leeds, 2015–2016) and an undergraduate degree in Midwifery.
