Dr Shanmugakumar Chinnappa is a consultant nephrologist with over a decade of active research experience in the field of cardio‑renal medicine.

  1. Cardio-Renal Syndrome
    1. Evaluation of cardiac dysfunction in CKD and characterisation of uraemic cardiomyopathy
    2. Primary prevention of heart failure in CKD
    3. Physical activity in CKD
    4. Understanding the mechanisms and management of worsening renal function in heart failure
