Profile
I graduated from Durham University with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology (2019), and a distinction in MSc Cognitive Neuroscience (2020). I am currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Leeds, funded by NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Translational Research Centre (YH-PSTRC).
Research interests
My project aims to identify and measure stressors associated with the in-hospital environment, and their impact on patient outcomes (i.e., post-hospital syndrome). I aim to develop and validate a tool to measure in-hospital stress, and then evaluate its ability to predict patient outcomes.
I am interested in the following:
- Post-hospital syndrome
- In-hospital stressors
- Patient outcomes
- Systematic reviews & meta-analyses
