Join us for a panel discussion at the University of Leeds.
The UK’s health and social care workforce is under unprecedented strain, with successive reports highlighting the need for change.
While an increase in medical schools and nursing places is necessary, it can only ever be part of a broader solution.
We need more.
We’ll be joined by panellists Professor Mark Kearney (Executive Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Health), Lord Nigel Crisp (former NHS Chief Executive and Permanent Secretary at the Department of Health) and Barny Leavers (Director of the NHS Workforce Plan) to discuss collaborative and imaginative solutions.
The discussion will be Chaired by Gillian Joseph (Sky News).
Let’s explore how we can build on good practices to ensure a sustainable health and social care workforce for the future.
