Working with the Plastic Surgery department at Leeds this year has consolidated my aims to enter this profession, and I look forward to continuing this work through my university research module in my 4th and 5th year of MBChB study (ESREP). The MRes has allowed me to develop and refine my academic skillset, through providing opportunities for me to critically analyse as well as disseminate research findings.
These experiences have allowed me to build a strong foundation for future academic work, while simultaneously improving my confidence in presenting work.
