Meet us
For overseas students
For overseas students who are considering studying for a Masters at the School of Medicine, our staff are able to advise on many aspects of life at the school. These could range from choosing your course, through to funding and application information and what to expect from student life in the city.
Upcoming international visits
Our staff, including academics and other representatives from the University of Leeds International Office regularly travel to countries across several continents in order to meet with students interested in studying in the UK and in some cases to undertake student interviews at our overseas offices. Take a look at our upcoming visits to discover when we’ll next be attending an event near you.
Tours of campus and our facilities
If you’d like to attend an open day but are unable to, we can still provide the opportunity to look round the University with our organised campus tours which take place throughout the academic year.
These are led by current University of Leeds students and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about life on campus and make the most of their insider experience of studying at the University.
These tours take place most Wednesdays (during term time).
These tours of the campus feature the following University-wide facilities which are relevant to all students who study at Leeds:
- Leeds University Students’ Union.
- The Edge Sports Centre.
- One of our halls of residence.
- The campus libraries.
Visiting individual schools
For those who wish to visit schools within the Faculty, this is often possible to arrange but you should contact the school in advance to ensure we have the right availability to welcome you. The availability of academic staff to meet students can often vary during term time because of their teaching commitments.
For any queries about campus tours please email campusvisits@leeds.ac.uk or phone 0113 343 6792.
Campus tours for International students
EU or overseas fee paying students can book an international campus tour. These are led by current students, and take in the International Student Office, the Brotherton Library and our sports centre amongst other campus sites which are especially useful to international students.
For further information contact the International Office.
Hearing from current students
If you would like to hear about the experiences of students who are currently at the University, you can speak with one of the Link to Leeds Ambassadors.
